Ahhh Spring.... a time of rebirth and regeneration. And a great time to make change for ourselves. This month brought, among many other news stories, news that Caitlin Clark, the #1 WNBA draft pick, will make $76,535 in salary which pales in comparison to last year's #1 NBA draft pick salary of $12MM. Everyone was outraged, as they should be, given the viewership stats of the Women's NCAA final. Obviously, as women we have a long way to go toward closing the gender pay gap and gender wealth gap and while a lot of it has to do with 100s of years of a patriarchal system, we can change how we respond to it - we do NOT have to accept it. We can be products of our choices, and not products of our circumstances. We can choose to advocate for ourselves and others to get equal pay in the workplace in particular when we are in positions of power in the C-Suite. We can hire women to negotiate for us or learn how to negotiate for ourselves and others to negate the data that men negotiate their compensation packages 4 x more than women. We can hire women into positions of power or hire their companies to do our third party work. We can make the changes ourselves - we just need to do it. And we want to help you.

Hi, I’m JJ.
Since starting the Justice Dept, I have increased women's wealth by over $80MM in less than 4 years.
Want to know what inspires me to do this work?
My clients' surprised reaction when I manage to get them much better terms for themselves and their companies, whether talent agreements, employment, severance, partnerships, asset sales or investments.
They often admit that they never thought they could get that result. Not even hoped.
This blows my mind. |
